Star Vodka was founded by Charles Ferri in 2008 as the first of the STAR BY CHARLES FERRI luxury alcoholic beverage products that pairs lifestyle with quality.
Ferri’s business model for Star Vodka generated from his personal experience with affluent clientele, following an eight-year banking career and ownership of the infamous Star Room in the Hamptons, complimented by hotspot Star Lounge in New York City. Once achieving the top of his summit, Ferri aimed to fill the one part of the equation he had discovered was missing: vodka done right and made in USA. Keeping in mind the ideals and high standards of his previous clients and social circle, Ferri spent 2008 researching and traveling to find the highest quality ingredients and production processes for Star Vodka.
Star Vodka is an ultra premium American vodka produced in Oregon utilizing non-genetically modified corn from the Midwest and Cascade Mountain water. This world-renowned water is naturally purified through lava rock, which is a known bio-filter. Mimicking what Mother Nature achieves, Star Vodka is purified by a five-time volcanic filtration process through lava rock filters. Star Vodka is carefully distilled in small batches to ensure it is the smoothest and most selective gluten-free vodka in the market.
Star Vodka debuted in 2010 in the luxurious summer destination for many well-heeled Manhattanites, the Hamptons. Star Vodka was strategically and selectively introduced through several special events, tastings, a Star Vodka Polo Team and appeared in numerous Hamptons hotspots. It was quickly exposed to what is now a loyal and enthusiastic core base.
